Chris Reed
Founding Director
Chris Reed is Founding Director of STOSS, where he leads the design and content of each project. A designer, researcher, strategist, teacher, and advisor, Chris is recognized internationally as a leading voice in the transformation of landscapes and cities and was a recipient of the 2012 Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award in Landscape Architecture. While running STOSS and its projects, Chris is also a Professor of Landscape Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. His commitment to teaching is not only a way to develop the next generation of landscape architects, but also keeps STOSS on a constant quest for new ways of seeing, thinking, and doing, which has helped put the firm at the forefront of the profession.
Paige Scott Reed founding partner
Paige Scott Reed is an Owner of the firm and serves as Clerk and Secretary of the corporation, as well as legal advisor. She is an attorney that specializes in transportation and employment law, and she has served as General Counsel for Boston 2024, MassDOT / Massachusetts Department of Transportation, and the MBTA. She is Past President of Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association.
Joonyon Kim

Joonyon Kim has 30 years of experience in landscape architecture and urban design, working on projects around the world. His main focus areas include urban waterfronts, post-industrial sites, and underutilized urban parcels, with an emphasis on climate adaptation, sustainability, resilience, site remediation, and water management.
His award-winning work has allowed him to undertake significant projects both nationally and internationally. Notable cities where he has made contributions include Boston, MA; Chattanooga, TN; Cincinnati, OH; Los Angeles, CA; Poughkeepsie, NY; Wilmington, CA; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Seoul, Korea; Shanghai, China; Sydney, Australia, and more.
